Introducing the U.S.S. Excelsior NCC-2000, one of the most iconic starships in the Star Trek universe. Originally designated NX-2000, the Excelsior made its debut in Star Trek III: The Search for Spock as a prototype for the Excelsior-class, designed to replace the aging Constitution-class vessels like the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701. Intended for deep-space exploration, the Excelsior would go on to become one of Starfleet’s most celebrated ships.
This Eaglemoss XL Edition model is a meticulously crafted replica of the U.S.S. Excelsior as seen in Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country, under the command of Captain Hikaru Sulu. Measuring approximately 269 mm (10.6 inches) in length, 104 mm in width, and 46 mm in height, this model is constructed from die-cast metal and high-quality ABS materials, ensuring durability and authenticity. It faithfully recreates the Excelsior’s distinctive design elements, including its sleek saucer section and elongated secondary hull. Each model is hand-painted to match its on-screen appearance, showcasing intricate details and craftsmanship.
